In a prior year, This same hunter brought me a deer to process and while deboning the hind quarter I discovered an anomaly with the bone and as I dug deeper and removed the meat, I realized the bone had been smashed and re-healed so I boiled it out while removing the meat, a broadhead blade fell into my wash tub. Here is what it looked like after boiling. I was certain that the large bulge in the bone contained the rest of the broadhead so I took the bones to work X-ray them to see if my hunch was correct. It turns out that I was wrong but. It just amazes me how tough these criters are.
