Another Unusual Broadhead
Here is another unusual broadhead from the past. It is called the Roper. Lowell Roper had a design patent D172,196 issued in May 1954. It is cast and made of aluminum. It proved very effective and it was reported to have 25% better penetration than other broadhead designs of that time (from "Broadheads 1871-1971" by Wade Phillips). There were several sizes that were produced. This is one of the most eye pleasing heads in any collection.
