Congrats on the excellent bow selection Matt, IMO. 
You are correct with the elk hunt, no pressure. Just being there would be rewarding enough for me. But........it's still fun to poke at Briarsdad like that. He'll do just fine, and the equipment he's carrying will pull him through.
