if you are talking about the bobcats i set up in the creek bottoms during the first hour of day break or sometimes when peak heat hits. just depends on the moon. if moons out all nite its a morn hunt. then just lip suck and sqweek. 90% of the time they work there way up the creek. When i set up I like to be faceing down the creek and next to a noisey water fall or say a log makeing the water lound. you never going to here a bobcat anyways. I do that because when they do pop out it makes them look hard at the creek because now they cant here the critter and just water. hang a feather in a over hanging limb or buch just above the water about 15 yard out. as the water moves (or breeze) the feather they pin pointed then you can draw. If you are talking about the hogs i pack my tree stand and 8ft of legs with me. slip into the bedding close has i can and sit in between the in and out trail. they change so much thats why i pack it around everytime i got out. they are laying under over hanging bushes next to creeks now. best i have done is 3hogs in one hunt. i never sit in my stand past 9:00pm i like to slip in and get set by 6:00pm. i never hunt over a food or water source. they are smart critters. thats why i drill them when they are on the move. hogs move all day up and down the creeks. i hope this all makes sence hahah
