Default Anyone can make a workable broadhead

I just joined this forumn at the suggestion of someone from over at Archerytalk. I posted some of my homemade stuff there and got a sort of cold reception from the "store bought only crowd." I like making my own stuff that works. It doesn't have to look good to work great. I wanted homemade broadheads that provided exception cutting diameter and radically increased my FOC and my K.E. at the same time. I took five deer this season and 3 of them were harvested with homemade broadheads. None ran more than 40 yards because they hemoraged so fast. All performed above expectation and better than any factory head that I have used. When I have time, I will post a "how to make ugly but deadly broadheads that really work" post if you all are interested. Don't expect them to look pretty. But anyone can make one that will shoot accurately and perform very well.
