First, thank you for your service to our country.

I recently bought Grim Reaper Razor tips after talking mechanicals with the owner of a not so local pro shop. I had been using Muzzy MX3 but wanted a larger wound channel due to flooding in an area where I hunt. A week after purchase I shot a deer with the GRs, 1 3/8 100 grain model. True to advertisement I watched the deer drop. But to be honest a very well placed shot with any quality broadhead will do that. The shot went through the upper rib cage through the heart and exited out the lower rib cage. The blades were closed when I found the arrow. This concerned me. I sent an email to GR and received a very prompt response explaining and containing a link to demo videos where the same phenomena occurred. The head did deploy the blades as advertised, the resource who replied instructed me to look at the cups for blade contact, which there was. The head also looked new, no blades bent or twisted . It is on an arrow in my quiver now. I would not hesitate to use it on another deer. I am overall very impressed with GR as a head and as a company. Anyone who stands behind their product with great customer service, made in USA and as durable as it is, has a happy customer on its hands. I would recommend them to you without hesitation.
