Here's a short video of a "recovery" of a small buck shot with the Bloodrunner this past November.
The initial shot was a partial "spine" shot. The deer dropped, floundered around and eventually flopped his way right underneath my buddy JT's stand. He then finished him off with a second Bloodrunner. Kind of a crazy hunt—as we all know can happen.
JT's peep ended up not lining up properly once at draw—so he actually shot and missed the deer twice with an "other model" of head before hitting paydirt with his third attempt to finish him off. Anyway, you'll hear him comment that he didn't want to "shoot that brand new one".
Between JT and his father-in-law, at last count, they had taken 6 deer and a 6x6 Elk with the Bloodrunner's this season!
