I can't tell you guys, and gal, how many times I've read/heard about how great the Slick Tricks are. In particular on this site, I've seen Gerhard explain how much he truly likes these heads. So, I'd like to share my experiences with you and see if this is an oddity or is it the somewhat common, but it does not negatively effect the performance of the head.

A couple of seasons ago, I picked up a pack of the Slick Trick Magnums and went about, as I usually do, and tested them out to see where their POI was as compared to my FPs. The first thing I noticed was that no matter how tight I tried to make them, 1 of the blades was loose to the point that I could wiggle that blade. I then went and shot them at the target and noticed the BH making a hissing noise in flight. I repeated this a number of times and even checked my FPs to see if that noise was there. And I even asked a few others if I was just me; they all confirmed that the Slick Trick made the noise and it wasn't from the FPs. I spoke with the folks from Slick Trick and told them what I was experiencing. To my surprise, they stated that they were sending me a set of replacement blades for the standards to see if that fixed the issues I was seeing... 2 thumbs up for Slick Trick.

So I took the new blades and did the same thing as I had done before. Unfortunately, the same problems presented themselves. Well, I gave them the pass and continue to do so as there are other BHs that work to my liking.

So I ask you all, is my experience the norm or not? Have you noticed what I have? If you did, does it matter to you? And lastly, have you experienced any negative effects, deer dropping... etc, as a result of them?
