Default In 3 Weeks I'm Getting A New

KNEE! I'm having knee surgery on May 13. New ACL, MCL, Meniscus repair and a fancy titanium screw to repair a crack in my shinbone.

Here's the story, Booner and I were working out a week ago Monday doing a CrossFit circuit and plyometrics. I attempted to jump OVER a box and my right foot caught the top of the box and stayed put while my left let cleared the box. All of my weight came down on my left leg, knee went inward and SNAP!

Tore my acl, mcl, meniscus and cracked my shinbone. I have three weeks of "pre-hab" before surgery on May 13. Six weeks of rehab after surgery.

Booner has stepped up in a huge way helping me run my business. I can't thank him enough. If anyone needs anything, send me a pm. I'm pretty much confined to a chair and a computer so I will be online A LOT.

    Andy

Sorry to hear about the injury Andy! Did you say "WATCH THIS!" You know it never works out when you do that.

Damn Andy, you seriously went BIG on that one. Mama always said, if you're going to do it, do it right. Unfortunately when it comes to injuries, that shouldn't apply. I had minor knee surgery some years ago, it wasn't pleasant. No weight on it for 30 days. I thought that was bad, but yours has me beat by a mile. Sorry to hear, I'm sure the pain was excruciating. Best wishes to you on your recovery efforts.

Thanks for Booner for going out of his way to help you too. It's good to have friends like that.

Ouch! I bet that was a horrid POP. Good luck on the recovery. It should go ok and you'll have a nice scar to show everyone!

How's the knee recovery coming Andy? I also have had knee surgery and that knee today is better than the one that didn't have anything wrong with it in the first place, go figure
