What can I say, well, first impression is this, the pictures do not render them any type of justice at all, you have to hold one in your hands to really feel and contemplate the design.
Where oh where has this little piece of engineering been hiding all this time ![]() ![]() ![]() Well, I know the first one is hiding under some brush, tall grass and a little moss !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!As per my usual testing with other heads, I first tried a field point at 60 yards and came pretty close to the little piece of foam I have in my Glendale deer. The only thing holding this arrow in the buck was the small fletching. Now I unscrewed the field point and added the Titanium Atom and off it goes, "Where did it go, I'm sure I hit behind the shoulder???" After close inspection, I hit right where I was aiming at but this Atom tipped arrow blew right through the Glendale buck and is knowhere to be seen !!!!!!!!!!!!!! My job tomorrow is to take the rake and start going through the back yard.....AGAIN!!!!!! The foam in the Glendale has this beautiful star in the front and back where the head went through, NASTY!!!!!!!!!! I'm flabbergasted, deprived of all words right now, how in the world did you come up with that Matt I don't know however as a bowhunter, I thought I had seen it all, I feel pretty lucky to have found this broadhead. My suggestion is to do as I did, invest in a metal detector
. You will be looking for a lot of arrows this fall after they slice through the deers shoulders like they did for me last year. I still have four arrows and atoms that I have not been able to recover yet . I hunt from the ground more than a treestand and hitting a deer at eye level, well... you play a lot of find the arrow . They fly like field points and there is no slowing them down as they go in and out the other side. I can't say enough good things about them . Plus they make a good hole that leaves a good blood trail.

Hummmm, a metal detector you say !!!!????? I was thinking the same thing a while back however I think I need to invest in one "tout de suite". Do you have any recommendations on a good one to purchase

Scientifically speaking in explaining why you experienced a difference of penetration in your target between the field point and our Atom....one of the unique capabilities of our design is what I call the "Snowplow Effect" of the razor wire upon tissue or in this instance...foam. Whereas the Field point "Pushes" its way fully thru the foam with constant frictional contact with the foam. The grind angle upon our wire, not being so steep as "Scalpel Sharp" bladed broadheads, coupled with the radiused nature of the wire as it's applied to the body with respect to the direction of penetration allows not just the cutting process to occur...but it also throws the foam/tissues aside via the laws of physics...Exactly in the same manner a "V" plow throws snow farther off the road the faster they travel down the road...as a result...the foam in this instance does not make contact with the arrow shaft unil well after the broadhead has passed...less friction...deeper penetration....and thus why we blow thru the majority of even brand new layered foam targets....and animals.
I love this old saying. "The mind is like a parachute...it only works when its Open!" There can be no clearer example of so many minds whom, if thrown out of an airplane will simply splat on the ground like a watermellon when focused on any discussion specific to broadheads. They would rather hug the parachute with both arms, squeezing it tighter and tighter refusing to pull the cord to open it.... falling their entire remaining lifespan of thier publicly displayed "Expertise" right up to the point they go "SPLAT" ignoring such simple truths and facts before us...while all the time they are yelling louder and louder while falling "I CAN fly!"...."I can FLY!"..... ![]() Standing bear...thanks for sharing your "Ah haaa" moment on the target range with us....and you've confirmed the number one "problem" our customers experience in using our Atom..."Harder to find the arrow than the animal"! |

Well maybe I don't want to get them now
I don't want to be replacing lost arrows lol. I hunt from a tree stand half the time I will just use them on those shots so I can find it after the shot.

LOL Actually, she just found it and I was so happy when she did, she has eyes like a hawk that girl, thanks Sylvie !!!!After work, I was shooting 80 yards and I wasn't dissapointed I really like that little broadhead !!!!!Daniel |

Atom broadhead set up.
I cut a whole bunch of arrows last night and my 100 grain Atoms sit on a 250 Spine 29" Dangerous Game FMJ arrow. All I need to do this evening is to add the arrow wraps and fletch them with my 2" blazers and they are ready to go. These will be going out with me this week-end on a two day bear hunt It should be fun, fun, and fun !!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the well wishes, and just to tell you, if I am successful at my stalk, should I see one, I'll have a big grin on my face before I release my arrow, just for Arrowdynamic Solutions !!!!!!
Rock on ![]() They are pretty sweet sitting in my quiver and we are leaving for our evening hunt in 20 minutes. As for Sylvie, she's a pretty confident bowhunter and does not say much, you can know how she feels and know what she thinks in her look. His and hers Atom broadhead are ready to fly !!!!!!!!! Will report back Sunday evening Thanks Matt !
