I saw video of people sighting Magnus Bullheads on a suspended pillow. Looked to work very well. The Guillotene is the same concept so I reckon it would work.
Do NoT shoot a guillotine with the bladed installed into a block style target. Especially if you ever want to see the blades again.

Many folks hang a piece of wall insulation batting over a rope...even a towel allowed to hang free....The simple physics of it all is unlike any other target...the focus of them is to stop an arrow fast in the shortest distance possible. With the Guillotine being the worlds largest cutting width broadhead...such mechanical force acting via leverage over that wide cutting width is simply phenominal. As such....standard targets are not a good idea.
The trick is to lengthen the distance over time....by use of a target material which slows the broadhead/arrow down over a greater distance allows practice without any problems other than replacement of the aerodynamic sheaths which get cut thru. The reality of what majority of my customers experience is that once they've setup their arrows/shot the 4 inch Guillotine in practice...at twenty yards...they realize from that point on....in view of the impact point being identical to that of the field point tipped arrow...they just practice with field points to ensure thier equipment is ready....and then screw on the Guillotine and go hunt with confidence they will hit where they aim. Should folks be curious about the 100 grain design....in view of it only having 2.5 inch cutting width....leverage forces are much less on the blades...and you can practice thousands of shots into any typical foam broadhead target with no worries other than the aerodynamic sheaths.... As many of my customers have found out....they can even shoot the 100 grain Guillotine without the aerodynamic sheaths deadly accurate as well...but that may take tuning dependant upon your unique setup....many report to me it just went where thier field point went and required no additional tuning. everyone's setups are different... And remember....we warranty our body parts for life...so should you ever bend/break/deform in any manner our Guillotine body...just send em back, we'll replace them at no charge. In nine years....I think that has occured only twice to the best of my aged memory...
