atom
yeah fellas, i took a doe this year, all be it, it was only at 20 yards, extremely strong quartering away though, whent in the last rib from back, and punched through the knuckle of the offside shoulder, head did good. let me break it down. bow wasn't tuned that great, got in a rush , fletched up some 4" feathers, found my max accurate range, at 30Yds, strapped on my wifes atom, and waited , the head made it through the knuckle, about 5" i think when she turned at the shot, she snapped the shaft , i found it a lil while later, but i gotta tell ya, that damned white tail didn't make 1 foot farther than the muley buck i took a year earlier at 16 yards with a 2" rage, there was only about 2 table spoons of blood where i hit her though , and nothing more that i could find, she was shot in farely open bush, i never saw her go down , but i could hear her, maybe in thicker bush i MIGHT have had a problem , but i didn't , whent back to the house, got my 6 yr old son and found her, i can't comment on b-head noise, since i was shooting 4" shield cut feathers with max helical, but that old girl only made it 75-80 yards, and yes the head was a bit buggered, but with a lil grit, it was easily manipulated back into place, since the razor wire isn't sharp to begin with, i think you can can just shoot it if you can make it right, if you're scared of expandable penetration, and don't wanna mess with b-head tuning , this is a practicle and deadly head, entrails hanging out when i found her,and a nasty hole when i skinned her, not bad! i know i should take more care , and usually do with my tuning , but life got in the way and hey, dead is dead! hope that doesn't sound to scabby,
