I can get a large number produced and available quite quickly so am just waiting till the end of next week to pull the trigger on production. I'm simply showing the design at the ATA show where I hope to get a sense of "How Many" to produce on our first run.

Great news there, best of luck to you on gaining interest at the ATA.

Here is a closer look at the entrance wound the Radian made on that buck...the exit was the same but I didn't feel compelled to clean that side up after dragging it thru mud/cactus where I got the four wheeler close to it.
Yep...it's a big hole and the buck didn't live fifteen seconds...I show this to provide confidence we have engineered the spring force to be easily sufficiently stiff enough to give such a full cut, even at huge impact energies.
I look forward to ya'll giving it a run thru some critters yourselves.
Seems in just a couple days since we posted some pictures of it....got calls/emails from around the world already....seems there are a huge bunch of "Field Testers" willing to do the dirty job of going bowhunting to give it a go and not just on this site!
I'll be sure to reserve some from my first run batch and sprinkle a few in the mail to some folks on this site to get some of that field testing done. Course..it may involve someone coming to Texas and hunt hogs with us cause there is no test unless critters are dying! And we have a few nasty hogs that need to meet The Radian!

Very courteous of you Matt, and a great way to get the product out there whackin' some animals. Careful with that hog hunt thing in Texas, these boys will begin foaming at the mouth.

I definatly love to shoot hogs! I only wish I lived closer to the areas they live, althoug I don't want them here. I hear they can be brutal on whitetail habitat and agriculture.

arrowds can expain this better but I'll give it a go. From what I understand this is how the radian will be in flight. It doesn't have a closed poaition per say.

The blades will have a give to them allowing them to slide around bone rather than try to drive through it. Kind of like the Reign broadhead but with independant blades.

Hey arrowds. What part of Texas is your place. You told me before but I can't remeber for the life of me. I'd love to come down and kill some of them hogs ya got but with this economy........ Kinda putting a cramp on free money......

I'll be watching for more reviews to roll in

Would think that it would mess around with its flight?!

I think it would actually have less surface area moving through air than a traditional COC blade, three blade and four blade model broad head so I would'nt think the head would have problems with flight. But I could be wrong. Let's carry the question over to the Arrowdynamic Solutions Forum...meet ya'll over there.

That looks like a neat expandable or whatever it is you want to call it. I'll have to give them a shot for sure!

Thanks for the confidence to give it a go....are excited to introduce this entirely new category of broadhead. Not fixed bladed...not mechanical...but "Compressible Cutting Width" broadheads....same technology we debuted with our Atom...just carried it to a "Razor Bladed" design which is built so solid....we're looking forward to folks putting thru any animal on the planet...more than once!

What is the cutting Dia on them and are the blade sharp...alot of new heads I see coming out look good but lack what I call sharp blades,NAP,Wac'em and Rocky Mountain and Wasp make what I call sharp blades...if the blades are sharp I would think about shooting them.

I watched the video on the Atom last night and did some looking around ~ I know I am supposed to be doing homework, I just can't leave you guys

I am really interested in giving them a try. Booner asked me to do a test review of different heads because of my short draw and low poundage, I think this is one I am going to give a test drive.

Well...the ATA show is over, I've danged near lost my voice and we dragged our tails into the house here in Texas very late last night.
It was quite a show with a good bit of interest in our new Radian broadhead as well as folks whom continued to shake thier heads in not clearly understanding HOW our Atom works..but as one Pennsylvania shop owner reported....he, his staff and customers had so much confidence in The Atom that they documented over 150 kills just this season alone with them! The folks from other countries as well whom stop to chat about broadheads also adds a great texture to the overall experience which cannot be "Typed" and explained on such a forum...but was another page of experience which is fun to be a part of. Bowhunting is clearly a global sport which puts many diverse backgrounds on common ground which put smiles on faces all around in sharing what we all love to do!
We were just up from the Athens bow booth....and I can tell you....they were packed from open to close....seems I'll be getting one built to begin a bit of "Broadhead" testing with as well! Smooth as butter and for these old bones...I'm appreciating such a well crafted arrow launching equipment!
And then along comes these three dudes in "Broadheadtalk.com" shirts toting a camera! I'm glad I wasn't the only one whom has a face better suited for Radio! Just kidding guys...it was a pleasure to meet ya'll and hopefully we'll all have time in the near future to really sit down and chat "broadheads" without the circus of such a show and the distractions it brings.
And yes....when Tim Silvia walked up...they had to hold me back so I didn't kick his tail! ...course he then figures I weigh about a buck fourty soakin wet so showed a bit of mercy with me and simply crushed my hand in a handshake. Ya'll ever get spend time with some of the UFC guys...they are a great bunch with a good sense of humor!
Well....gotta get to work...just a quick report...much more happened and many great folks spent some time with us but cannot possibly report all...but can thank them all....it was simply good to see everyone again.
