Default Radian to Arrive!

May 7th is the first delivery date of the new Radian! I expect shortly thereafter to begin putting some in the mail to folks around the world whom are awaiting them to test along with other toys such as BuckfeverLodge has admitted publicly to sneakin past Mama's checkbook!

Alright gents, the good thing is that my better half doesn't get on BHT, so I should be good.

What she doesn't know won't hurt her. Besides, I came home yesterday with a dozen roses for her, so she's happy for a few days.

Thanks for the update Matt.

Thans for the update Matt. I was hoping to have some Radians to fling at a turkey but that's OK. The way my turkey season is going I can take some of those kids plastic arrows with the suction cup tips.

So does this head fall under the definition of "barbed" or? I know most states have made it illegal to use barbed heads so I am just curious as to how you overcame this.

This head is not considered barbed in that upon pulling backwards...each of the two blades release from the leaf springs and they then pivot forward to a non-barbed position...as seen in this photo.

Default You know I have to ask

OK Matt, You know I have to ask and I know you have the answer already too. How are the Radians going to perform on my crossbow??? I like what I see. I might just have to test these out...

My wife and daughter each shoot a crossbow. We own and use both Excalibur and the Bowtech Stryker....and the Radian shoots equally well off either from our 22 inch bolts.

I knew they'd be good on the crossbows. I remember that the BOSS and the next in charge both shoot crossbows. Dang, I wish you were coing to the show, I'd have to get a set. I'll get in touch with you soon.

Are these heads ready to be shipped yet? Sure would like to get some to test before I choose my BH for a trip to RSA in late Sept! I have the Tekan T#, Phathead SOB, Smoke Ramcat and would sure like to add the new Radian to that mix.

Update on the Radian availability....
Where am I at right now? In view of a major Consulting project now completed and I'm back home in Texas.....I'm now focused due to such a humbling and overwhelming demand for The Radian on working thru the packaging/production issues and getting them available for the public to obtain/use with confidence as soon as possible. I apologize for such a delay...but these are simply the facts before us... I don't do this for a living like all other broadhead companies...For that.....I provide Consulting support within the Semiconductor Manufacturing Industry to support my family. The true "Websters Dictionary" description of a "High Tech Redneck"!
Seriously though....The good news is that I do have a number of Radians...however, they sport a spring component although I'm not satisfied with due to metal fatigue minimizing the re-usability to five or so critters before needing replacement. Regardless... I've sent/am sending to Field Staff/customers whom understand this limitation whom still demand an opportunity to use The Radian....they'll all just replace the spring compenent after a few animals to ensure reliable, ethical performance...all understanding that this is a production issue I'm working now to resolve. But also know that the performance on even Cape Buffalo will be reliable and ethically safe and quite lethal...so they still choose to use The Radian due to it's accuracy/ruggedness/penetration capacity due to such independant blade compressibility. Anyway...once resolved of the reliability of compression/rebound iterations issue the volume production issue has surfaced...and it will easily be resolved now that I'm back home and can focus on this....the iteration expectation will be exponentially amplified and the Radian becomes capable of delivering reliable/repeatable performance warrantied for life...
So...sorry for the bad news...but I view it as good news. I'm back and focused on it...I'm working hard on it...and pieces/parts/packaging are in the pipeline and getting closer to being delivered.

I understand COMPLETELY Matt. Been there, done that....just not on the scale you work. I'm patient and will be waiting when you're ready to let some loose.

I was just going to ask if this was up yet. Glad you caught the issue. I'd still like to give them a shot..or twelve.

Just make sure and let everyone on here know or shoot the ones on this thread a PM on when they will be avaliable. i definitely wnat to try some before my trip to Africa. Appreciate the update, not to many owners would do what you have done. Very comendable, but I sort of figured that coming from a fellow Texan.
