Thanks Tradgirl.....with nearly twenty years specific study of this cool little micro machine we call a broadhead...I assure you...I'm STILL learning every day! The more I learn...the more I realize...I've still plenty of room to learn more and maybe apply it to the next generational leap in the development of a broadhead! The process and steps taken are the actual part of this trip I really enjoy....kind of like passing up on small bucks year after year and only after much time...finally launching an arrow at a true Booner buck! Makes all the work worth it!
Plus...I get to meet and swap broadhead and bowhunting stories with folks like ya'll...and that's just icing on the cake! |

Just joined the forum and saw my friend Matt was here.
I'm glad I came for sure now. Matt, are you headed up to the Shreveport Show this year? Not sure if you would remember me or not, I'm Brian Warner, the Heirloom Game Calls guy. I hope the elk call worked out for you well. I'll be at the show again this year if you get up for it. It's july 23, 24, and 25. Folks, if you ever get the chance to meet up with Matt in person, bring a chair and be ready for a GREAT conversation. Best also think of bringing a note book because this young man HAS the experience and knowledge. I can't say enough about his products or him and lovely wife. GREAT FOLKS!!!! barely puts a dent in it. Good to see you still doing well Matt. Brian |

Heirloom! (Brian) Of course I remember you and the very fine, well crafted and most importantly...perfectly fine sounding Elk call! Spent a week chasing elk in Colorado with it and they responded wicked good to the call.
I won't have a booth at the show as I'm supposed to be working via my Consulting company in another state. Schedule isn't set in stone yet...but if possible...I'll try to get there just to visit if the schedule allows. As for the chair and a conversation...yep...just as my wife says....I'm a bit long winded when it comes to chatting about bowhunting and broadheads! Did ya just see her roll her eyes at me?!!!! Yep....she has the patience of a Saint!

I hope you d get the chanceto swing on up to the show Matt. I'll be there as usual. Come on by and say hi and set down. I'm really happy the call worked out for you. What's next in your "wild world of ideas"??? A bolo type or shot type arrow head for bird or duck hunting??? I bet if anyne can do it, you can. Don't let the wifes eye rolling get to you, Mine does it too.
