First....I agree completely on the avatar...outstanding! And that video is wicked too! Nice shot! While I've paid for folks to go over to SA and kill critters with our Atom broadhead....I've yet to make the trip myself! Someday I'll get a chance to sneak down there and fling a few arrows!
Thanks for sharing the video...

Unfortunately with a baby due in July, my 20 month old daughter, and me doing EMT/Paramedics training I'm really going to have to pick and choose which heads I get to try this year unlike in years past!

Great video Z!

Wow! Excellent video!

My opinion on the Atom. Like I said before you must have total confidence in your equipment. I purchased a pack of regular atoms before last fall. They laid on my desk do months. I'd take them out and examine them time after time. I just could not convince myself to try them. I feared the wires would compress all the way on impact leaving a very small intance and exit hole. Internalyy they would cause major damge but with the tiny holes I feared a sparse blood trail.

I saw all the videos. Multiple hogs and deer and even the giraffe. But I just couldn't get over the hump so I left them at home.

I read all the threads by arrowds regarding the atoms and converse with him via pm about them. I'm not saying they won't function flawlessly. The video evidences suggests they will. I just couldn't get it threw my thick skull

now the new Radian throughs that fear out of the window. It will take significant pressure to move the blade and even at that it will only flex so far. It's certainly on my short list

please excuse my hideous typing. If you've ever typed on an iPhone you'd understand......

Cartman

I had the same concerns about the blood trail.

but after a couple of animals taken with them i realized that the blood trails were more or less the same than any b/h with the same cutting diameter.

I must add that the penetration i get with the atom is excellent!

the first pig i shot with a atom was q/on and the atom broke the front shoulder and exited on the hide leg with arrow only hanging from the fletches.

Very nice Impala! Thanks for showing folks your results...especially the detail of minimal distance traveled after the Atom went thru it. Soon as I get time...I'll upload a bunch more African footage of our Atom whackin critters over there so you can see a larger variety and larger critters as well.

Very interesting. My spitfires have served me well for many years, but technology has really passed them by. I've been studying broadheads lately and I'm ready for a change for next year. These atoms are on the top of my list. Gonna have to get some to shoot some hogs with this spring and summer to give them a real test before shoot them at a deer.

First time bow hunter here and the atom looks "Sexy", passthroughs to me are important. all my friend who got me into hunting are magnus and muzzy shooters and seem to laugh at "Bladeless broadhead"concept. Anything I could say to them to stop the ridicule or should I just get the atom and show them what it can do in the upcoming season. Advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Well if it was me I would buy the Atom and let IT do the talking....

Who cares what they say....just shoot and have fun

This broadhead has diffinitely been taken to a theory breaking level.....

I still don't understand how a broadhead that won't cut me will make animals bleed like the one's on the videos, but I am so intrigued by the Atom's I gotta give em a try. I bought a pack of Atom's and come April I am gonna try them on a turkey and if that works out I might give them a try this fall on whitetails! I can't bring myself to take them to Colorado this year for my first guided elk hunt, but if they perform well on deer maybe next time.

Well....first...I appreciate the conversation on our unique Atom heads. And with respect to hunting turkeys with our Atom...ya gotta know that made me laugh! After all..I'm the guy whom invented the Guillotine specifically for turkey...so...why would you "Test" our big game animal broadhead on a turkey? That's what the Guillotine was engineered for! You need to put an Atom thru that elk... as you can see...that little test has been done repeatedly and passed every time. This is just a little look at my personal best elk to date. And as you can see via the video...deer and many other critters prefer to NOT be the Atom test subjects as they quickly get reduced to visiting the smoker grills of bowhunters the world over! And 100% of thier doctors all agree...smokin is bad for thier health!

Richa3md has it exactly correct. Just ensure you're shooting straight with a field tip, put an Atom on that arrow...go shoot a deer, hog or elk...you put it thru the vitals...you'll see why, despite such a huge leap of engineering difference between "The main Stream" crowd of broadhead engineering you've witnessed the past few decades....we're uniquely different for an engineered reason...a very "Lethal" reason. You simply must experience it yourself to understand it.

Any questions at all...please don't hesitate to ask...
