Okay....ya got me....I'd suggest you get some of the new Double Take Archery's lighted nocks....I've tested/used them all...this one is the simplest, most reliable and brightest nock ever...works EVERY time...and just as important....it never shuts off until you shut it off. Definitetly will save you some money on being able to find those Atom tipped, bloody arrows!
And if you saw me practicing to 100 yards with field points yesterday with the new Athens bow...you'd know why I need em too!

I had alread decieded to get some lighted nocks before season just for that reason. Life is good if all you have to worry about hunting is finding your arrow after the shot.

Ladies and gents, I have finally seen the Atom in person !!!!!!!!!!!! Too see it is to believe it, wow, this broadhead has sliced right through a bunch of elastic bands, and I should say the Atom performed flawlessly, actually, it exceeded my expectations.

Matt, you have made a believer out of me, and as I am writing this, I can't wait to see what the wife will write because she was totally in shock......once the shock diminished, the smile she already had became permanent

Thanks Matt !!!

I bought some 100gr for last year. I had a 6pt bull elk at 41 yards, but facing away. He spooked ran and stopped broadside at what I thought was 50 yds (no time to range), I let the atom fly and it just flew under the bull. I then ranged and found out it was 58 yds.

I have 2 100gr heads left, but moved up to 125 gr this year. Does atom make a 125? I may sell these 100 gr heads if that is the case.

AGPank, I use the Aftershock 25 grain booster broadhead adapter if I want to use 100 grain broadheads. I plan on using this with my new Atom 100 grain Titainum broadheads because I also shoot 125 grain.

Just a thought

Here is one recent example of an effective test of our Atom by a beginning bowhunter whom traveled to Namibia with her pink Athens bow in tow. Not by some wicked fast, 70 lb pull, heavy arrow, long draw length hyper rig....but a simple 40 lb pull bow shooting a 100 grain Atom on a short draw length, 25.5 inch arrow. Yep...a Gold Medal SCI record book Red Hartebeast didn't make it 100yards. I'm thinking based on the size of that smile...she's quite a happy beginning bowhunter! As I would be too!

Video will be posted soon as I get it from them when they return from thier trip...Should be next week sometime....

all the talk and videos about the Atom have pushed me to the brink...

I'm a guy who likes simple & basic utilitarian stuff...hence the preference for fixed blade broadheads (Muzzy, Thunderhead, Slick Trick), but I'm gonna have to get a set (even if they don't go hunting til next year);

looks like a great product!!!

Questions recently surfaced about the performance of the Atom on low poundage bows for women/kids. So, thought is fitting to post from folks I don't even know, in thier own words thier hunt results from a low poundage bow using The Atom.....

knockout1018 has made a comment on Atom Broadhead:
my wife shot a 250 pound hog twodays ago with her bow set at only 40 pounds just to see how it would perform.she normally shoots 50 pounds.the 100 grain broadhead went clean through the hog like a hot knife cutting through butter.it ran a whole ten yards.its amazing.

Boys,
after a lot of waiting (it is a long way to have them here in Europe), and some lab testing, I will finally test the ATOMS on game, this w.end !!!
Yeah, the time has come.
Fallow deers and wild boars (the European nordic ones, there are some "trucks" over 500 lbs...) be aware !
Hope to have pics to share monday.
FOBS (thanks to BFL), and Atoms (thanks to Matt), and both thanks to this wonderful BHT.
