It has been my experience that bad comments come from those who rush the shot and make bad hits. In that case no broadhead will help. I have used these heads for two years now and have not had a single deer go out of eye sight before they dropped. Most didn't make it twenty yards. I was skeptical at first of these heads but made the decision to try them anyway. I have not looked at another head since. The whole concept of having a broadhead that cuts like surgical steel but yet won't cut you or your string if accidently hit should be enough of an incentive to try them at least. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I am sure that every now and then any broadhead will fail to do as advertised. But I read some of the comments left on the bass pro shop that you were referring to. First let’s examine some of the complaints.

Several complained about the wires breaking or coming apart removing them from targets. I do not see that these heads were built with target shooting in mind, they are a hunting head. Game, not targets are what they are designed for, so why destroy them in a foam target just because you want to shoot them in it. If you just have to see if they fly like field tips then shoot one into a target to find out. Then replace the wires and go hunting. Don’t shoot them all. Once you have established that they fly like your field tips it doesn’t make very much sense to shoot them at targets just because you can. Save them for hunting.

Second several are talking about them breaking the wires after the shot and having to replace one or two of the wires. Unless you are shooting a head that can be re-sharpened, then you will have to replace the blades on just about all broadheads after they are shot. To not do so would be unethical, and taking a chance on wounding and loosing the game due to a dull broadhead. One talks about that he wished that they were sharper, the wires are not intended to be as sharp as a normal broadhead, the design of the wires causes it to cut on impact based on the principal of Velocity + Pressure + Edge = Cut.

Thirdly, they complain of not having a blood trail to follow after the shot. If you make a shot that does not exit by hitting bone or making a high lung shot, then the blood has to fill the cavity to reach the hole before spilling out on the ground. No broadhead under these conditions would leave a good blood trail to follow.

Lastly, one stated that he lost a deer after shooting the animal threw both lungs and the wires came un-done and just punching a field point type hole in them. I am not saying that he was at fault but that just as easy could have been because he didn’t seat them in the tracks properly in the first place.

No broadhead works 100% of the time like it is supposed too. But I think that most are looking at this broadhead as something they can shoot at targets and game without destroying it because of the material they are made of “Titanium”. They expect it to be indestructible. No broadhead is indestructible.

Buy them to hunt with and make sure that they are assembled properly and do everything possible to not shoot the deer in the shoulders where the large bones are. Over the past two years I have shot 15 deer with these heads. I have never had a wire come off as it went threw the deer and have never failed to have a very easy to follow blood trail. All have fallen within eye sight of the shot. My only complaint? Being as I hunt from the ground I loose a lot of arrows because they go through the deer so fast I can’t find them after the shot.

I have nothing to do with the company or owner of these broadheads and have nothing to gain by trying to promote them; I am just a very satisfied user and hate the hype that these great broadheads are getting.

I too was a skeptic hugely and part of me still is but I am going to try them for after rifle season for late doe. Hoping to run some of these through some critters. how will you know how something will work without trying it.

Oldarcher said it best. These broadheads get negative hype because as a consumer you are trained to look a broadhead and see blades. Thats what you are used to. It is human nature to not like change, but when the facts show that the change is better why doubt it. These heads atleast deserve an chance trust me they will not disappoint.
