What am I?

Check the dimensions in the Master List, but it looks to me like a Game Tracker Stiletto #0499.210.

Here are pictures from my book "The Modern Mechanical Broadhead 1982 to 2010" except in the book the heads are all actual size.

Looks like your right on the money. Measured and it matches the 100gr. Stiletto.

Thanx, Shep

My latest find.

I love assorted groups of heads especially when you find a couple to "X" off a head or two on the Master List. Found a couple of heads I needed. OD Green Hunters Edge, Herters 5/16 Steel Take Apart, Beaman CCL 3 Bld, Shear Advantage, The short ferrule Mohawk Swivel

Sometimes you even find a gem hidden in among them

Coe Archery Slasher
4 Bld, Sloped Corners
2.05" Long
1.10" Wide
.320" ID
90 gr.
.024" Thick Bld

Aux Bld .82"L X .38"W
Unsharpened

Hey Shep.....I'm glad that group of heads found a good home, they were talking about tossing all of those except for the Bears and Deadheads.

I thought there may have been a Coe Slasher hiding in there, but could not tell for sure. Great deal

Here's some interesting info about the Mohawk swivel. The ABCC master list shows two of them:

0883.000 Mohawk Swivel Action, 115 gr 2 Mech TF 11/32 115 Mohawk Sporting Eq 1956 Barbed-Closed, Rnd Corner, Str Edge, L 2.72", W 2.09"

0884.000 Mohawk Swivel Action, 136 gr 2 Mech TF 11/32 136 Mohawk Sporting Eq 1957 Barbed-Closed, Rnd Corner, Str Edge, L 2.72", W 2.08"

notice that both are the same length and width with a 20 gr difference in weight.

In the book that you have pictured above there are also two heads, the 0883 with a length of 2.70 and the 0884 length of 3.70. I have six of these and all are marked 0884 as they all measure 3.70. I think the 0883 is the very first Mohawk (red ferrule?) your's in the picture above appears to be black or smoke colored. What is the overall measurement? In this book it is also stated " swivel open to a width of over 2.1" upon impact and penetration" my measurement shows an open width of 4.08" which is way over the 2.1" stated.

Nice find on the Coe!
I got the same one last year and was told that this head came from Cliff's personal stash. Since there is one pictured in this book, and you have one, and I have one then this should have a master list number. If you will send in an application then I will also.

Dang it Raghorn , you made me go and measure. I was wrr... wrrr .... wrong !

Ok there I said it, but tell anyone and I will deny it.

They are both the heavier 136gr model.

I filled out broadhead applications for 2 heads, the Coe Slasher 4Bld. and a Archers Moon Cheetah 125 double edge grind.

You may want to double check that Archers moon against the Elberg Cheetah.

Question

I didn't send in the Broadhead Application for the Archers Moon head. Wanted to double check myself before it went out.

The head I'm refering to is an Archers Moon Cheetah. When I recieved the heads it was a new pack of 6 heads. Before I had the Broadhead ID books and knew what they were I gifted and traded several of them. The packaging shows it as a 125gr head with a 4X4 Skel. ferrule and a double edge grind. The head measures 2.30"L, 1.19"W, weighs 114gr. and is a light OD green color. The DEG listed in the Broadhead ID book shows a weight of 143gr.

I have a couple Elburg 3-Notch Cheetahs and the design is nearly the same but the 125gr Elburg Cheetah is a 4X5 DEG. In the Elburg pic you can see how similar the Archers Moon Cheetah 4X4 is.

What do you guys think ? Does this head need a Master List Broadhead Application ?
