Default My latest find

I took a long shot and called a guy who said he was turning 70 and it was time to clean out some stuff. He didn't mention broadheads but I called and asked what he might have along those lines. Can you say jackpot !

He only put 2 of each head in the pic.

Looks like Buck Dread heads in the top row along with Butterfield Brutes.
The two in the center.... Copperhead Rippers?????

Yes on the Rippers, 11 of the 3-notch and the 2 in the middle. The angle makes it tough to see. I don't have them in hand yet...... but soon.

A dozen Saxon Archery Ramhorns. Not sure if they are 2 or 4 blade.

I would also like to thank you for posting your find. It is nice when someone shares things like this with someone who will cherish it for years. Would like to see better pictures when you get the heads. We might be able to help you identify any heads you are not sure of.

Are you a member of the ABCC?

Something I have noticed is that once friends or family find out you are a collector they keep their eyes out for stuff. I have gotten a couple heads from "Oh by the way".

Default Another possible find !

Just recieved this in an e-mail from a guy who said he knew where some old heads were. This is a different source and not related to the first post. He is working out of town and will send a picture or two in a couple weeks. Going to be a long couple weeks !

"I have at least 150 Ivanhoes - 4 different kinds. Most, probably 90, are the darker grey ones. 1 bowlo and a 1/2 dozen that look kind of homemade that I will give to you. What are the Ivanhoes worth to you?"

WOW ! !

Glad to see you found us StickGunner ! No need to worry, you were the first call as soon as I get them.

I traded a green Kodiak Hunter, quiver and some arrows for the broadheads. I should have them after the holiday.
