Ok just a ?. Do any of you use your collections for hunting or display only. Looking at a few of the pics and some of the heads look like they would rip an elephant a new butthole.

I can't speak for everyone of us, but many like myself started out by throwing our old hunting heads into a box. We then realized that we had a small collection of heads and decided to display them. I then started looking for heads that were being closed out at stores. But after finding out about the ABCC, I then found a whole world of heads available to me by other collectors. Some were and are given, some bought, and many traded.

Yes there are some impressive looking heads that have been made, and most didn't work well, which is why they are no longer available. But a few heads like the Bodkiin and Zwickey are still selling after more than a half century.
