Default Wish me luck.

Well I am gonna be off of here for a few days. Going to go chase elk. Will be using either Bear Razorheads (Kind of a tribute to Ol' Fred) or Centaur BGHs Depending on which bow I am using. Maybe catch a couple Yotes while I am up there as well. I am leaving tomorrow morning. Wish me luck.

Lol, forgot about this thread. The first day I got up there is was pretty nice out. After a search of the area I couldnt find any sign. So I moved to a different location and saw some Elk on the opposing ridge about an hour after I got there. It rained that night. The next day I saw some but couldnt get in range. Snow and pretty cold that night. Cleared up the next day. That is basicly how it was for that week. Saw them several times but was never in a position to get within 50 yards. I did learn the area pretty well though and their movements. Next season I will be in a lot better shape. Because they are in the same spot at the same time every year. Not animals were harmed in the making of this story. But a lot of fun was had.

Dont feel bad that the elk were smarter than you

It sounds like a great trip and you got one up on them for next year. Knowing where to start will give you a much better chance of getting on them.

Now that you got that out of your system you can get back to more important stuff like collecting broadheads
