Yes Dave there are a bunch of us. In case you didn't know the ABCC put out a Fish Point Master List last June. This is a works in progress but is a very good start at doucumenting the points with pictures and ID numbers.
It is about 50 pages, costs $5.00, plus $2.00 postage to the USA. Send me an email or PM if your are interested in one. I still have a few left. |

I do believe that DaveA is one of the folks that helped to build that master list.

The real thanks for the fish point ID goes to Rod W. Dave M. Bob W. and a few others. They put the blood, sweat and tears in it. I was just a helper. But my real interest is fish points/heads, never got into broadheads except to trade off. I just found the site, so have to learn my way around. Glad to know you "fishy" guys are out there.

Dave,
Just two new fish points out this year. A Bohning Ruff-Neck Ultra which is a S/S Warhead. The other one is a 9/32 Shurshot by October Mountain Products. You going to be able to come to the June Meeting?

Shep Cool old Bear Set I find it interesting how the point drawings changed on the box tops over time, when the rest stayed pretty much the same. That brown color drum seems to be hard to find in good shape. Dave

I traded for this homemade fish point a couple of weeks ago. Mike said he got it out of Earl Hoyt's garage and Skip confirmed seeing these in Earl's garage. Has anyone else seen these?
![]() This one sold on ebay not long ago.

I was waiting for Wade to chime in . . . but he's a modest man.
Did you ask about fish points? He's got fish points!

Stumpkiller -
That is an old photograph shortly after I renovated one of Floyd Eccleston's Display cases several years ago and converted it into a Fish Point Display. That display is not covered with glass to protect it and has never been out of the Arsenal. I really need to get some new display cases made for Fish Points so I can take them to the ABCC Meeting to display... |
