Being ignorant, I see references to more than one version of the Condor (II etc) and have no info on what, when, sizes, weights etc.
Actually, one of the ones I never heard of but doesn't seem to appear REAL old in photos I see of them and look similar in size to a SS head I have from a few years back, a Zephyr, I think, but I see no references to ferrel size and head weight yet they LOOK heavier than the norm? The Condors I have seen photos of are not vented on the tip and the outer section of the blades are wider than this head I have too. Id have to take it off an arrow to weigh it but seem to remember it was 150 grain. Shown next to a treeshark for size reference. Some quick info on the Condors would be great. (I realize the one in photo is NOT a Condor, just so I dont confuse the issue) I failed in a search to find much here on the Condor heads so thought I would ask. Sorry if this is a repeat. God Bless

as I posted above
"(I realize the one in photo is NOT a Condor, just so I dont confuse the issue)" but asking for info ON the Condor's , Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for the info on that head. I had it wrong anyway. (WAY wrong) Ok, it has been sharpened but weighed it, recalibrated the scale (that cant be right!) and double checked the scale with known weights. (Scale is a Hornady Lock N Load, not a cheapie) 87.4 grains??? 2 3/8 long for present length but doesn't APPEAR to be snubbed off any. Width is as posted above though. Is just "a head I used to use" not anything meant as collectable. Never weighed it before but had it for some time. HOLY moly was I off on that one LOL God Bless Last edited by Slowbowke; 05-09-2011 at 07:51 AM. |
