This is a good time to talk about how the club works as far as dues.

All memberships run from July to July with the first newsletter of the fiscal year coming out in October. So this time of year is towards the end of our fiscal year.

To join now you would have two options.

First option:
For $20.00 you would start as of July 2010 and receive the Oct. 2010, Jan 2011, April 2011, and 2011 Masterlist right away. In July you would get the July newsletter and it would then be time to renew your membership for 2012 by sending in another $20.00. Or send in the $40.00 right now and be good through July 2012.

Second option:
Send in $30.00 and start officially in July 2011, but receive the April newsletter and Masterlist now and the July newsletter when it comes out.Your membership would need to be renewed again in July 2012. The downside with this option is that you would not get the membership list that is in the January issue and because your membership does not start officially until July 2011, you would lose one year towards your 5 year pins.

I (Membership Chairman of the ABCC) will take PayPal but you would need to pay their fee which is about 3% in the USA and 4% in the rest of the world. I can not take charge cards. Otherwise it is checks or money orders.

I agree, the being a member of the ABCC is best $20 a collector can spend each year.

I've been sending in my dues every year since the 1970s and it has been the best bargain ever.

It is also more than just getting a quarterly newsletter. You will find many of the people on this site that are also officers of the club and every member is encouraged to do research into the history or background of broadheads and their manufacturers. It is a club and not a magazine. You can also make friendships from around the world.

The history of the heads coming out today are best documented today before time erases it for all time.
