Default Departing with my Apologies

It seems I've made a technical error and I wish to apologize here.

Two, very kind, knowledgable members here have helped me find a couple heads I wanted to see and consider USING.

A couple I bought (a little confused on that issue) and another I traded for.

The ones I bought, I didnt like some things about them and sold them. (again, I bought them and that person got them SOMEWHERE from SOMEONE?).

The other I traded for but, found something I wanted otherwise so ASKED if selling the head was a "issue". Seems that it is so I wont sell it.

Somehow, I missed the fact that strings were attached to trades or purchases in the broadhead collector society so therefore I humbly submit my apology to members I've offended and beg their pardon as no such thing ever crossed my mind or was considered as something that might offend.

All material things are not sacred to me. Only my family and salvation are such.

In my aging years I've found I often miss thing implied and this is yet another one.

My apologies to those involved and anyone Ive contacted.

I will return to see heads and learn from you all and express my gratitude for everyone whom I've learned from but I will probably do so in "lurking" mode so I do not continue to insult people unknowingly and ANY deals, should I be brave enough to once again try, I will make it PERFECTLY CLEAR that NOTHING material has so much meaning that it cant be sold should I find something else I wanted ........more.

Hard for me to believe, others dont do the same?

Regardless, I do apologize with heart felt regret than I have stepped on toes unknowingly.

God Bless

It sounds as though the issues are with one or two people. Not all collectors are the same.
You have just had a learning experiance but there is no need to pull back into a shell and not particpate in BHD collecting. You now know to do a prenuptial before completing a trade!

I agree and I was the guy that sent him a great arrow with a 70 year old Ace because his original post said he wanted to collect some really old arrows with broadheads attached. I thought he really wanted this to be cherished in his collection. He then told me he wanted to sell it to buy a bow he wanted.

I told him he could do so if he wanted but I would not send him any more heads or arrows.

I gave this to him because I thought he would love it. If I had wanted to sell it I would just have done so myself.

I know many other collectors that would have loved to have that arrow and head.

I give real collectors many things for free or low cost because I think they would love them. I am not just going to give something to someone so they can just turn it at a profit.

In this case I think it was not intentional and that is why I agree he should not leave the site.

Please say it ain't so!

I am a brand new member here only because you pointed me in this direction. I just read this thread and sincerely hope that you will stick around. You have been very helpful to me over on TG and I really appreciate you sending me over here to BROADHEADTALK. Please hang around.
