That Octagon looks like it could put a nasty hole into something. I always wondered how much game was actually taken with some of the oddball heads like the Serpentine. I am sure some had to have been.

Larry just had the one, I will keep an eye out

I think this, #0191.000 1957 Ben Pearson #789 5/16 TF Tip, Barbed, may turn out to be a trader. I have one already, but is a little different in the ferrule.

Thanks Shep....there's more, and I've received two packages in the mail from trades made at Compton's. Glad I made the trip, looking forward to going to the Archery Collectors Show hosted by Cabelas and sponsored by the ABCC. This is to be held at the Cabelas store in Sidney, Nebraska July 9 to 11-2010.

BH from P, Looks like you had a great couple of days at Compton. It was good to meet you. Hope you enjoyed your first annual meeting. How did you like the Commemorative head that Teske made?

I got three of the early Arrowmates, a Gus Adkins BF-5, two different Shear Advantages, and an Excalibur 50. Also a bunch of other heads, but these were the best.
