Default Ethical Persuit Ethical Kill E.P.E.K.

The name EPEK came from Ethical Persuit Ethical Kill

Just a heads up about the name and hopefully what we at Epek stand for.

Very Creative! Scott, can you tell us the reason for your design and how long it took from creation to product...also some of the challenges you faced along the way.

I love it, I wish all hunters would think that way

I can't take the credit. My buddy who is the President of the company and partner used the name EPEK as his user name on another forum before the broadhead was thought up. It just made sense to use it later when he called me and said that he was tired of sparatic broadhead flight and that along with two others we needed to get together and think up a better broadhead that didn't have all of the flight issues. We realized that a broadhead could not fly like a field point unless it resembled a field point and so the rest is history. We just had to "hide" a broadhead within a field point.
We met for the first time in the late fall after the hunting season and by that January, 3 months later, we had a prototype at the ATA show. We made some drastic changes to that prototype for strength reasons and by that fall we were killing animals with the prototypes that we had sharpend small peices of steel to make the blades. By the next January, we had the real thing at the ATA show and were selling them that following summer for the falls hunts. That was this past fall and so all of the animals killed this past fall were the FIRST killed by the general public.
