In my uninformed opinion, it doesn't matter how many blades you have. The blood trail is a result of where you hit the animal and what you cut inside
a high double lung will yeild a marginal bloodtral, if any for the first few yards nthe chest cavity wold have to fill with bloob before it would start spilling out and leaving a nice blood trail. A low heart shot will cause a nice crimson flow almost emediatly . I personally believe a three or four blade will cause more tissue damage than a two blade but a two blade would tend to penetrate better. All the above information is my opinion only. Nothing scientific at all.

When you get your Buzzcuts, try them with the bleeder blades and without to see if you get any arrow plaining. I just got my Simmon's Land Sharks and am trying them without the bleeders.
Just a thought.

I have shot the buzzcuts now for 3 years now and have excellent bloodtrails. Agian this is about shot placement more than blades. I shoot the four blade model out to 80 yards and have zero plaining issues. My last bull elk killed was next to a large field. Let's just say you did not need to get out of the truck to know where the bull went. Just follow the red brick road

I would not recommend shooting the four blade versions of the Buzzcut or Stinger without the bleeders. They are designed as a four blade to have the bleeders. Without them there will be room for the block that holds them to move, approx.019-.020".

WoodySanford and seminole that is the kind of feed back I love hearing. Maybe I will just stick with the 125 gr BH and try the Buzzcuts with the bleeders and call it good.

thats very nice of you. i think im goin to go pick a pack up this week. just looked at the dnr site and we can shoot two sika with the bow this comin season. two hinds or a hind and a stag. last season it was two but only one stag and one hind. dont think the pop. is large enough to take the extra hinds, but what do i know
