Hey i was curious if anybody on here has shot the striker mag from g5 and if they fly like field points im thinking about shooting these and think that getting them to fly right shouldnt be a problem but one of the guys i work with told me he would bet me 20 dollars that i couldnt get them to hit the same place as a field point

I have heard that the Stryker Magnum was a copy of the Wac'em XL and that the Wacem has a better washer system and the ferule is machined and not cast making it a bit stronger and tests have confirmed this. The washer on the Stryker needs to be switched out otherwise the blades will bust through if they hit a hard surface.

the other day i bought bought a package of the strikers and i was a bit disappointed. when fully assembled and tightened down, at least one blade was loose on each broadhead.
i then went and bought a pack of the slick trick magnums. with the slick tricks you get a machined ferrule (rather than MIM), thicker blades (0.035 vs 0.030), same cut, same sharpness (both g5 and ST blades are lutz solingen) and absolutely no blade movement when tightened down. |
