Default Eclipse broadheads

I thought I would show you what broadhead I use when going out in the bush with my longbow and or recurve, they are the Eclipse broadheads manufactured by Traditional Pursuit, Inc, out of Boise, ID. The company, as per mentioned on his web site, is owned and operated by Blake O. Fisher.

I first used these broadheads when they were called the Journeyman broadhead in the mid Eighties. I actually had the opportunity to harvest my first moose with my longbow using this head.

After having called Mr. Fisher, I was quick to note he was very knowledgeable with his craft and dedicated in providing us with a very high quality broadhead. I use both his 2 blade and 4 blade broadheads and am very satisfied with how they fly with my set ups.

Unfortunately, I don't think they make 100 grain broadheads, I only know of the 125's and 145's in the weight category.

Yeap, I tried to make my picture look half decent but I can't figure out for the life of me how to add nice lettering on them like Gerhard does.......hummmm....maybe he knows something I don't LOL

I have been talking with Blake from Eclipse, and I plan I buying the 145 gr with a threaded insert. I may use the one they sell which is 25 gr. The lowest grain broadhead they have is the 125 gr. I may order the 75 gr threaded inserts from 3Rivers to add more front end wt for my traditional set up.

But I will be getting this one for sure.

It looks very much like my Zwickey Eskimo 125 gr glue on but use a 25 gr threaded insert total wt 150 gr, BUT the metal that Eclispe uses is much harder and holds a better edge.

You can order your broadheads with double bevel, RH bevel or LH bevel, and or with bleeder blades as well.

Eclipse Broadheads

Eclispe has done their homework on broadhead toughness.

MT Bowhunter, you'll enjoy these broadheads. As per mentioned in a previous post, I remember stalking to withing a few yards of a nice moose and when I released my cedar shaft tipped with an Eclipse broadhead, it went through like butter I remember asking myself, " Did I hit it?", and when I seen the blood coming out, I knew I had a good hit. The broadhead along with shot placement allowed me, my family and friends to eat moose meat that year.
Wishing you lots of success with these heads.
