Well I shot the buzz cut 4 blade 100gr never any issues but I have a 29 inch draw.
I have never shot the other two but I think I would go with the stingers two blade. I was watching Ted Nugent shooting 53 pounds with 2 blade stingers. |

You should not have any problems with any of them. I personally like all three but the buzzcut does so much damage it is hard to say no to it.

Out of the 3 BHs, I'd go with the Buzzcut. Now if you are asking which Buzzcut to go with, I'll answer it this way.
If you are going to use a 100gr BH, go with the 4 bladed Buzzcut. If you are going with a 125gr BH, go with the 2 bladed Buzzcut. David

I shoot a 70# Athens w/ a 26" draw and I shoot the 100 grn, 4 blade Stingers and this year I'm going to give the Buzzcuts a whirl. They both work well with the short DL/slower bows, always had pass through's w/ the regular Stingers. I think you would do well w/ either head. I have no hunting experience w/ the Phathead but I have shot one into a target once and they are very capeable I'm sure.

I only have experience with the Phatheads. I can tell you that you would not be disappointed with it in any way. Our group has put down a pile of critters the last 3 years with them we all feel it is the best head we have ever shot.
As far as 100 vs 125 grain...I think that is more a personal preference than anything. The 125 Phathead is a bit wider cut but also has more surface area that can give some guys a little more trouble when it comes to bh tuning. I have shot both and killed animals with both. |

I have shot the Buzzcut and the Phathead both. They are both great heads. Right now I am shooting the Phathead but I wouldn't hesitate to shoot the Buzzcut or stinger. I give the slight edge to the Phathead simply because of the big huge main blade.....it is nearly twice as thick as the Magnus. Also....I know this is not apples to apples but the 100 gr. Phathead tuned easier than the 125 gr. Buzzcut for me. That is saying a lot because tuning a Buzzcut is pretty simple in itself.
Either way you can't go wrong. |

I have tried both the 100 grain buzzcut and the 100 grain phathead. The phathead seemed to shoot better for me. I killed 3 deer last year with the 100 grain phathead and was very pleased with them. Plust with their thick main blade they are very tough.

I was wanting to add to my last comment.....I feel that the only real advantage that the Phathead has over the Stinger/Buzzcut is they might fly just a tad bit better. Keep in mind, you will not have any issues with the Stinger but I found that the Phathead was simply a exceptional flying head. Since using them a bit more I will say that I am not really fond of the tiny bleeder blades and am not a big fan of the Nik Lock washers so IMHO they are a wash with the Magnus performance wise. Your mileage may vary but either would be hard to pick against.

All three of these heads will perform flawlessly on any North American animal. I've shot all three out of my bow and I see essentially no difference in flight. I have not had the privilege of putting them all through animals, but I have no doubt they will get the job done.
