I speak with Dave every couple of months and he convinced me to try the Land Sharks this year. Could not be more impressed. He is definitely taking that company in the right direction.

The winter season for chasing the big cats in Montana opened on December 1st. Big Dave Oligee wasted no time in getting right to work on finding some fresh cat tracks. With the nightly snow-falls we’ve been getting in western MT, the conditions have been perfect! When the crew came across some super-fresh tracks, it was game on! Long-time bowhunter, Mike Bradt, was up to bat as the shooter for this hunt. His goal was to kill the cat with his recurve bow. With the tracks as fresh as they were, the dogs made short work of putting the cat in the tree. Mike’s quest for a lion with his recurve was short lived as he sent one of Dave’s new Simmons TigerShark broadheads through the big tom’s chest. Day one was in the books…and 1 for 1 is never a bad way to start!

Wow, what a great looking cat. Taking a Tom with a longbow has been a bowhunting dream of mine since I was a kid and first read Saxton Pope's "Hunting with the Bow and Arrow". Unfortunately, we can't run dogs in Oregon.

Tell your friend, congrats!

Default Cat Hunting in Montana

Red Feather, You get the tag and I'll put you underneath a cat so close you can smell his breath. One broadhead maker to another. I love to see guys the first time they get to see a big tom up in a tree! I'd like to see you smoke a big tom with trad equipment even more than you'd like to do it! God Bless, Dave

Hi guys and girls I am new to this sight. I have been using Simmon's heads for over 10 years w/compound and longbow. These holes and performance in the first post are the norm with these heads. Sometimes they are even more impressive.LCH

Default Red Feather Cat hunting

It's a draw for the area that I'll have you put in for. If you get it it will be a slam dunk though......providing that you are in purty good shape. Season opens Dec 1 and runs thru April 15th. We just need some fresh snow. Not hard to find here during those months. Ha Ha!! We'll have to do some trading for some of those small game heads though. I hear they are awesome! God Bless, Dave
