Default Simmons Shark Land Shark

I am shooting a 165 gr. Simmons Shark Land shark this year. Had a chance to test it out on a doe last week....check it out boys and girls!! I was highly impressed with the flight of this broadhead. To be so big, you would think there would be some planing...not here. Very easy to sharpen and quiet in flight compared to some other fixed blades. Here are the pics.

One of my hunting buddies used the 125gr back around 1998 and loved them....one of them is still stuck in a tree...

My goodness the 165gr left a massive hole and great blood splatter....HOLY MOLY...

The blade was SHAAAARRRPPP!! It went through her like a whisper. She just flinched when it hit her and trotted about 30 yrds double pumping out both sides. She stopped, turned to look back my way and sat down on her hunches like a dog and then fell over.

good shot! love the blood trails from those heads. i shoot the 165 Land Shark also. like you said, it's amazing that they fly so well with how big they are. they cut big holes like mechanicals but bust bone like the rugged fixed blade they are.

Simmon's does make great broadheads.

Dave did tell me that the favored broadhead in his stock is the Land Shark 165 gr no matter if shot from a traditional or modern compound bow.

For those that would like to see a host of animals taken with the Simmon's Shark broadheads:
