My bow came with American Broadhead Sonics. The Sonic broadhead looks like a pretty trust-worthy head but created quite a sighting in problem in switching from my target tips. The Sonics hit a good 8" to the right of my field tips. Once I made adjustments to my sight, I had no problem hitting the center of my target and got very tight groups. But, if I want to shoot my target tips I have to re-adjust my sight which I don't think I should have to do. I am searching for a good fixed blade broadhead that flies true.
I shot a G5 Striker this weekend and while it was much closer to my target tip, it still needed some tuning. I also shot the Rage3 and G5 Tekan, which were dead on with my field tips. Are there any fixed blade tips out there that shoot like a field tip?

Sonics are one of the broadheads that I have had absolutely no flight issues with even on a poorly tuned bow. Id check over everything and see where your issue on your bow is. The striker is also a head that flys like a dart so something must be up with your bow. Let me know how it goes!

you have something a little off in your set-up. I'd deal w/that first.

If the Sonics are not hitting with your FPs, you definitely need to tune your bow. And as far as using them on game, I would only use them on small game only. They do not have a very good reputation of being a BH that will reliably withstand the damage that a whitetail could do.
For that, I'd go with a well known head; there are many out there (Magnus, Slick Tricks, Muzzy, RFA Phoenix, etc...). I personally use Magnus Buzzcuts. David

if you can't get Sonics to fly right, your bow just simply isn't tuned. Start over, sighting your field tips. Then shoot the Sonics. If they are that far off again, adjust your rest opposite the direction the BH's hit,til they're getting close,THEN adjust the sight if needed. Good luck
