Default QAD Exodus Broadhead

Okay, this broadhead is super intriguing to me. Super short ferrule, blades swept back over the arrow shaft, same overall length as a field point, barbed or non-barbed design. Very similar to the "never released" Grim Reaper Death Star...I can't wait to get mine in early June and try them out.

Has anyone heard anything else about them? Has anyone gotten to try out a demo somewhere?

it looks like an opened mechanical head
I would like to try it, but my doubts are about the fly and the effect after meet a bone with just one blade

in MY opinion, of course

If I wasn't so cheap, I'd love to give these a try. It seems it would be more balanced with the short ferrule. Some couldn't use it though. I know some folks that have their arrows so short with an overdraw rest that the back of the blades would actually catch on the rest! I like to have the tip of my arrow insert about even with the front of my riser myself, but to each his own.

I think it's a great design broadhead and a great way for QAD to start in the market!

Looks like the old Hoyt Chuck-it, Australian Shooting Star, and Scorpion Axe, all of which which were 4 blades. Nothing much new in archery, it just comes back around every decade or so.
Remember that some states do not allow barbed heads.

It seems like having the blades back over the arrow shaft would lend strength to the head.

Seems like a pretty plausible idea, especially good for those who need a coc head with low ke. The concentration of the impact is more focused seemingly with such a design. Nice design.
