Simmons Sharks Wound **Very Graphic** -

Got this photo from Dave Oligee, the owner of Simmons Broadheads. One of his customers shot this doe with a Simmons Land Shark. I think the doe jumped the string and turned her face toward the shot. I'll try and get some more detail on how this happened.

I'm sure it's real. All the head did was slide down her side before entering the body cavity. Most of that wound is superficial. I have never personally done it but I have seen it happen a few times from different fixed & mechanical heads.

Do you think that head is sharp? I seen that done on a hog in texas and it droped it's litter of piglet's on the ground that was bad.

The doe jumped the string and the head entered her neck and then down her side. She ran about two steps and hit the dirt. This is testament to a sharp head.

I freaked out when my arrow went in at the base of the neck ~ I would have really freaked if that had happened.

Brutal isn't it. Princess. The shark in 100 grain would be a great blade for you with a short draw and 50# and under pull. Them or the magnus buzzcut.
