Geat video, I like the different assortment of mediums you've used. Hopefully you don't mind but I have one suggestion for you. In order to show what the penetration is of the BH thru each medium, I'd recommend allowing a full arrow length of space between the backside of the medium and the backstop, in this case the Block 4x4. The reason I say this is that by providing ample space for the arrow to pass completely thru, it will 1) show if the BH is truly capable of getting a passthru in that medium, and 2) it will remove any bias that can be induced by the backstop, namely, the more the backstop is shot, the less stopping force that spot will have and will allow the arrow to penetrate further. So in turn, it will appear as if the BH gets better penetration when in reality it might not. Hope this makes sense.
Otherwise, great job and keep up the good work. David |

Thanks for the tip Yoda....but we were really just testing the durability/endurance of the head and not the penetration. We just did the initial penetration with a new, sharp blade on the block for people to have an idea of penetration capabilities....in the rest of the mediums we were just seeing what the head would take. And of course I don't mind....that is what we are here for.

Im will say this about that little head.....It was T U F F!!! The tip never even rounded off. I was impressed......tell me what ya'll think. I know some of you don't care for these kinds of tests simply because they are not on an animal.....I understand....but....this is just a durability test. Some of the mediums are way softer than you would encounter on an animal....some are way tougher.

Suggestion: maybe after shooting through each medium, take a still photo of the head to post in the thread. This will allow viewers the ability to relate the appearance of the head to each shot in the vid. If creativity is on your side, then you could pinpoint/highlight any areas which appear to be damaged or deformed after each shot. Just a suggestion to give viewers more ability to base their own opinions.
