First kill pics I've seen from he Maxx beads. Thanks man!
I'm still apprehensive. It'll be like Rage heads for me. I can't wrap my brain around them so I probably never will try them on game. Not bashing the product just my way of thinking.

Well not the exact head mentioned but close. I got these a couple years back. They held up to 3/4 plywood fairly well actually penetrated plywood as good or better than the muzzy 3 blade ,100 and rocky mountain tit. 100. at 10 yards. I shot them into pumpkins with 3 small pieces paneling inside about 1/2 to 1 inch apart. On Whitetail deer - I shot two deer with these first was a doe broadside in the crease mid way on animal the head hit off shoulder ( her far leg must have been back some) and stopped. The blood trail was spotty because alot of the winter hair, meat chunks that had been pushed inside deer plugging hole. The deer made 50 yards and dropped. There was a good sized pile of hair/hide inside deer. Second deer doe- Was shot from ground at maybe 13 to 15 yards. The deer was quartering away slightly one step to right feeding. The deer took one last step to the right as shot was going off. The arrow hit about 1 inch behind last rib angling towards front of off side shoulder. The arrow was a 27 1/2 goldtip 7595 xt with a 4 inch feather white wrap. The arrow was buried leaving the wrap and fletching with about 3 inches of shaft hanging out the side the deer was hit on. There was a cloud of hair in the air do to hitting on angle. The deer was left over night. The trail was spotty at best and deer was not recovered. This was my experience with this style broad head on Michigan whitetail. |

Anyone know where I can pick one up to try?
$40 is kinda steep for 3, I really just want one to try out first. If I like it then I will buy more. But I have a bh test coming up and would love nothing more then to put it through the ringer and see how it fairs. I will have no problem trying it on a whitetail this year if it proves itself on the test.
