anyone ever try this head.Outdoor Sports Products - High Quality Archery Broadheads to Enhance Your Hunting and Outdoor Living Experience. Look interesting maybe for turkeys or small game. Don't know about big game though.

I'd be nervous to try them for fear of hitting ribs or other bones. I'm interested to see if others have experience with them.

i have shot hogs, woolly sheep ,javalina ,squirrels lol i have a pic of the hog i shot ill try to upload

thats the entrance on the hog and a squirrel that came to close during elk season lol

How heavy of an arrow are you shooting?

I might give them a try but want to get some more info on them. Have you shot them at a whitetail?

i shoot about a 405 grn arrow i think they would do better on whitetail i think hogs are built more heavy duty lol

think you would get one on a white tail. that would be interesting to see. hopefully someone can step in and show us some pictures.

i live in az and have never hunted eastern whitetail so idk if i can but the coremaxx and sabermaxx video on this site has a pic of entrance hole in a axis deer my bro shot in texas and in the link the the first post has a pic of a hole in a deer in the testamonials

I might take the plunge and try one. I am sure I could get in the vitals and wreck them. That hole looks like it would blood trail just plain amazingly.

ya the ring normally breaks off on the coremaxx when it hits some thing hard i think its almost designed to so you get the hole on entrance then keeps going helping with penetration but the sabermaxx ring is wider and tougher but with out the ring you have like a 95 grain head shot them both ways. but it all depends what you hit i guess. the only bad thing is what target to use in practice the block target gets tore up bad but its easy on the head
