Ok, I bought a 3-pack of T3's and shot them at my target just to see how they open as I'm still skeptical about mech heads. They opened very nicely and efficiently. The only problem I see is that the spider clips are one shot and done. Anyone else had this issue?

I've been using these for a while now...... so far only on hogs.....but I've never had one malfunction. Yes you're right, 99% of the time a shot render the spider clip useless but there not really expensive and as long as you don't keep shooting them at your target you can keep your usage to a minimum.

Are the clips available separately? If so, where can you get them? How much are they? Thanks for all your help. Also, I mainly shoot hogs too so how have they worked for you?

I buy the clips from my local Bass Pro about $13 for 24.... G5 Outdoors T3 Expandable Mechanical Broadheads .....but I think you can order them from G5 as well.....
As far as hog damage this is my latest, I hit her a little back but she dropped in 30 yds.............. The first 2 pics are entrance & the third is the exit. Last edited by BOWCAPT; 03-01-2011 at 06:56 AM. |
