Daniel, I told Saddleman about your hunt, he said to tell you congrats. In Michigan it is illegal to kill Sandhill Cranes, but yesterday here in Idaho season opened and the neighbor kid across the street shot him one (with a gun). Jason is just itching to shoot one, he's never really liked them. But I just wanted to pass on his congrats.
He said they heard the first Elk bugle yesterday, he said it was really awesome. Can't wait to get back down there in 24 days, I've never heard it except on tv, can't wait.
