Looking at where the vitals are situated in White Tails compared to where they are situated in lets say an Impala.

They are exactly the same.


Go up the front leg on third up the body and take the shot.

I dont know why guys keep on saying that the vital area for game found in the US are further back than in Africa...

I don't know for certian how it got started but for the most part hunting video's are what promoted it to such a level. The morphology is very similar other than some slight differences but not enough to really make a difference in educating on shot placement.

I'm very happy you guys like the pic's, that makes it work worth doing. There will be more to come and hopefully soon.

BuckFeverLodge, good call. You're absolutely right. My placement was thinking the arrow would be coming from where I'm standing.
