I like to use the Red Feather Archery Talon myself it is an indestructable wedge shaped head that is just devistating.

Whatever is handy, from field point to blunts, and anything inbetween.

I shoot lots of small game, it's just about my favorite thing to hunt. I've used just about every kind of head you can imagine and in the end, designed my own that would do everything that I needed a head to do. Granted, I hunt a lot of different types of small game, from raccoons, opossums and nutria, rabbits and squirrels to grouse, quail, starlings, gophers and bullfrogs. With that much variation in critters I prefer a head that has both cutting edges and blunt force trauma.
Whatever you choose, I highly recommend you spend as much time as possible pursuing small game and if you get a chance, take a kid with you. I'll warn you though, small game with a kid is addictive

I've always wanted to put together a bow saftey course for kids with a small game hunt at the end. I was thinking bull frogs for the tikes 12 and under and maybe rabbit, squirrel, and pheasant for those 13-17. Just don't really know how to go about putting an event like that together.

It's really too general a question to cover all small game encountered. For squirrel, rabbits, most birds, etc. I like to use our SG-X point but when taking anything larger then a rabbit and especially those big grouse a broadhead just works so much better. So I guess size of game does make a big difference in which arrow I grab out of the quiver.
