Smile Alfalfa cubes

anyone ever use a bag of the alfalfa cubes, you can get them at feed stores, or fleet farm. I have always wanted to try this before in front of the trail camera, so kind of just looking for some opinions on the stuff...any help please...

If you look at the trail cam attractant thread someone talks about using them and says the deer love them, i think its elkslayer that says it.

Yep, it was me that mentioned alfalfa, you get a lot of results for what little a bale of alfalfa costs, a little messy, I transport it in carbage bags, and dump it in front of my trail cams. This year i ran into a small problem using alfalfa, had a small amount of deerblock in the bag I put the alfalfa in and after I placed it in front of my trail cam, I got un-expected visitors. Good looking though.

This is about 1.5 miles from the other site, Cam is on an old apple tree focused on a natural travel corridor, have'nt put any new alfalfa there for two months, and am still getting pics. We picked this spot because of the obvious bedding happening there, seems the the little ridge that the vertilce stick is on is a favored lounging spot. the two white ribbons represent the height of the little ridge and are 36 inches high, either on the lower level as this bear is or on the ridge. Each time I go in there to swap batteries and SD cards, the first few pics are very close up bear snouts. The closest I've been to them is 19 minutes, heard me comming.
