Hunting stories (The good, The weird, the ugly)

Had a friend of mine chase a doe down a stream jump on its back, stab it 15 plus times with his hunting knife, twice with the broadhead that he shot into it, then drown it in the creek. Both his father and brother witnessed it. They had pictures of the deers lungs filled with water. Unfortunately I dont have access to the pictures as our friendship is no longer, due to a messy relationship with his younger sister, but thats not a hunting story.

So what stories do you guys have?

I heard a simular story about a guy at work, but he just drowned the deer instead of stabing it... Crazy!!

Had it backwards it was my ex friends brother who went crazy on the deer. The man is only 5' 3" 125 lbs...talk about adrenaline pumping through the body.

I shot a buck when I was in my teens that lived for 7 days with a lung shot. Deer was 20yd slightly gartering away. I shot deer took off with my arrOw stcking half way out. Waited a few hrs till dark started tracking heard something go crashing thru corn backed out till morning. Had good blood all over corn but only on one side. Tracked next morning for about 20O yds lost blood, found one tiny spec on the edge of a wet spot in the field then nothing. The field ran along a country road and on the other side was a good ditch so I went lookin for blood, if he crossed it should start pumping again. Found few drops then nothing. Inthe middle of that feld was a small island of trees, I figured he bedded down in that. Had my bow started circling trees seen a deer exit ran around to other side just as it entered another wOods. Couldn't tell what t was. Searched all over for the next 2 days nothing. 4 days after the shot i had a buddy out looking with me we were looking in A corn field and we were moving along and there he was on the other side of the corn row about 8 feet away breathing real heavy. All I had was my knife, so I pulled it out. My buddy asked WTF u gonna do with that, I Sait what do you think. I took a step n deer took off. We left went home got my bow came back I kicked him up again but he was gone. Looked around a bunch more, thaught he crossed highway but wasn't sure. On 6th day gave up, my buddy called me wanting to go rabbit hunting, so we head to a woods near by were we last seen him and my buddy got freaked out said he seen a deer ghost take off!! I was like ya ok, we walked over to where he see. It and there was my deer dead and still warm under it's arm pit!!! I opened it up and the muzzy for some reason stopped on the off side rib. Diaphragm was full of blood and he packed entrance. Meat was green so it was a sad loss. Deer are some tuff critters.
