Fobs are heavier than fletching, so the arrow will weigh more, changing the point of impact. All you have to do is sight in for FOBs and you're fine.
The noise is directed more toward the rear due to the design of the airfoil ring. There are youtube videos with the camera at the target, and the FOBs are no louder than Blazer vanes at the target. Besides, in those videos, you can hear the bow before the arrow, and the bow is louder than either the FOBs or the Blazers.

It is possible to use lighted nocks with FOBs, especially if you make your own. Youtube has tons of videos showing how to do this.
