As far as I know my current scent elimination procedure is working and we have never been busted. Then again, there is no way to know that for sure.
Yes I am using them with Seemz hair and body soap and applying Bust a buck earth scent lotion on after I shower. Clothes are kept in a container after running them thru the log 6 after each hunt.

I don't think the deer are curious, they just notice it and kinda ignore it. With it getting colder, more fireplaces are gonna be going as well.

If your current system is working, keep doing it. The thing I like about the Deer smoke screen, is mainly for wind changes. The more I have to help jam a deer's radar, the better.

I am a total rookie, just shot my first deer at age 48, so I am trying to learn the ropes from guys like you. Everything I can gain from your experiences saves me from mistakes in the woods.

Congratulations on the deer kill. Your diffinitely hooked now.

Im still learning myself....most of my stands are set up for the right wind as well, it's just nice knowing I have that little extra help just incase the wind does change on me.

I will say, I managed to kill 26 deer before using cover scents, but I think alot of that had to do with being as clean as I could and most of my stands are in cedar trees (my favorite place to hang a stand).

This doe was hanging with a button buck down wind from me for about 15 minutes. Watched her and decided to take the shot since my little girl wanted to help skin a deer......smoke screen was lit the whole time....
