If you do film your hunts, what animals do you hunt and what set up do you use?

Default Here is mine!

I film everything I can. Animals we hunt/film are pretty much anything that we are hunting for the day. Anytime you are hunting and filming at the same time just seems to make it a lot more fun. You can go back review a kill shot to see how fatal it was, and whether or not you should leave the animal lay for a while or go and retrieve it right away. You can share the film with friends and family, and show them your successful, or your not so successful hunts.

Here is my set up for sitting in a tree! Its a Canon XL2, Monfrotto 501HD fluid head, and a Muddy Outdoors tree arm. Soon to be a Audio Technica 1800 series wireless mic. (i just haven't gotten around to getting it.)

I started self filming this year. Its definately a challenge. Made my own camera arm that works ok for the most part, better than the lil lone wolf and primos arms. Looking into a professional arm.

Default i do...

i have a canon hf200 hd camcorder and shoot off of a muddy outdoors arm ... awesome combo and i only have about $850.00 in it... i know to some thats a good bit of cash but when you compare it to some setups that have $1,500.00 or more in just the camera i thought it was good. i have filmed a couple deer kills and rabbit kill so far this year.

My partner has a camera and we are gonna start filming some. Mostly whitetails, hogs and turkeys. I may look into an additional camera, just to film myself when he can't go.

Thats the plan! We had a few glitches this year. We didn't get much film time due to my camera mans lady friend having a baby.

That is no joke at all, but it sure does feel good when you put one to rest on film!
