Well good luck. We don't have enough hard water up here in southern Wisconsin to walk on water yet and I am sure you don't either. So if you still want to take out that boat go ahead.

A better question is why aren't you still out there hunting?

Just have these little spaces in the freezer to stuff bags of crappie between the sides and packs of meat.

Our season has been so bad with the drought we had this year, that there is nothing to talk about. Pigs left the lease, most of the better bucks were broken and dissapeared and what we did see was young and not very good horns. Not a fisherman, so my season was basically a bust. Never even released and arrow except for the bull elk I killed in CO in Sept. Most of what I saw this year was young or broken up and the last 2 months of the season even the does dissapeared. Very dissapointing.

As much as I like the Holidays, they sure seem to get real busy.

So instead of hanging around here, been trying to hang around in a tree with what little time that has been allowed....

im just now thinking i can get back out there. i drove by today, and the river looks like its FINALLY going down. so hopefully, i'll have a picture of the big boy thats been torturing my mind since November 10th!!
